We are a coalition of health, consumer, legal, and community advocates, who have worked together for many years to address the problems of underinsurance and medical debt.

In 2006, members of our coalition helped to draft, and successfully advocated for passage and enactment of, landmark legislation (The Hospital Fair Pricing Act, AB774, Chan), to protect uninsured and underinsured consumers from hospital overcharging.
